Re: I need help

Posting on this board your going to get the nod for the Z28. Post on a Mustang board and you'll get a diff opinion The 93+ Z28s usually are faster than the same year Mustangs out of the box (stock) but there's a few Mustangs around town that will seriously stomp my butt. Depends on if you want to stay stock or mod. More power stock = more power modded.

Welcome aboard

Yea, a lot of it has to do with engine, horsepower, weight, tires, etc..

Not necessarily whether it's called "Ford" or "Chevy".

Re: I need help

The only Mustang I'd be willing to own that is stock is an '03-'04 S/C Cobra.

Those things are mean.....definitely my Mustang of choice. The Z28 from '93-02 pretty much owned Mustangs, stock for stock.**

ON EDIT: **owned GT Mustangs......Mach 1's and Cobras notwithstanding.

Re: I need help

Well, your friend needs to get acquainted with the Mach 1s, the supercharged cobras, and the GT 500. All fast cars out of the factory that will give f-bodies a run for their money. Lets not forget the old 5.0s, which were very potent from the factory and frustrated many third-gen owners, including myself.
