Re: Hypertech may have actually made something useful.

I want to see some in writing reviews or hear some reviews in person before I actually considered buying one.

It doesnt look like just a code scanner, it looks like it might actually be a worth wild unit, but measuring hp and tq....I highly doubt thats even close to being acurate but as far as tuning does, it may work.

Re: Hypertech may have actually made something useful.

It's more than a code scanner. It's a road force dyno, road force 1/4 mile, standard Hypertech Power Programmer, code scanner/clear with "plain english" descriptions, and something else that I can't remember off the top of my head.

By "road force", I mean that it calculates your exact drag coefficient by doing a coast down test. It calculates your drag coefficient for your car, on that road, under those weather conditions, etc ... Hypertech claims that it is *****-on accurate.

Plus they will be writing new programs that you can upload.

Is it for the casual tuner? Probably not. Is it a good product? Heck yeah!

Just remember, for the tuning part, you can't do anything that you can't do with a Hypertech Power Programmer.

For the money, you can buy a snap-on brick which is 10349 times better.

Looks to me like it's a programmer with G-tech functions thrown in.
