hump on the passenger side?

hump on the passenger side?

i recently got a '98 z28 and on the floorboard theres a hump just in front of the passenger seat. ive seen other camaros that dont have this hump and i was wondering what purpose it serves? anyone have any idea?

not any 3rd or 4th gens. They all came with the hump, its for the cat. If you were in a 4th gen that didn't have this it was custom, but I highly doubt it.

You replace the restrictive cat with the higher flowing midget for performance gains of up to 7%

I prefer to hump on the passenger side. If we hump on the drivers side the steering wheel gets me in the ***.

hahahaha my buddy did it on the driver side and the window kept rolling down, and the steering wheel was in the girls a$$...
