How to replace lights in radio?

Well I can't finish working on my clutch until next week so I might as well get something else done on it. Some lights on my radio and A/C went out a while ago and I need to get those replaced. How do I go about doing that? Do I have to take out my whole dash or anything crazy like that?

Re: How to replace lights in radio?

You can replace the bulbs for the HVAC controls but if the radio is anything like a late 90's truck radio you CANNOT replace the bulbs. My work truck is a 99 Suburban and some of the radio lights didnt work and we got a junk radio for free to get bulbs out of but it turns out that the bulbs are made into the "motherboard" of the radio. Thanks GM.

Hope that helps
