Just wondering how you would remove the airbag coil. I bought a new aftermarket steering wheel and the hub is to tightly against the airbag coil. Do I just pry it out with a screwdriver. I dont need the part anymore so I really dont care If I break it. I just want to remove it.

There is a retaining ring that holds the clock spring (SIR coil) in place.
You do know that unless you do a little trick with the firing mechanism and the clock spring, your "airbag" light will be on all the time.
