How rare is a LT1 SS

how rare are the 96 and 97 SS's? I want to know how many were made for those two years. I also want to know how many special 30th Anniversary models were made for 97(white with orange stripes)

1996 there were 2,263 SS's
1997 there were 3,108 SS's

If you get an anniversary with the LT4 engine those are pretty rare and worth quite a bit.

Just over 100 SS's with the LT4 in 97.

Other than the 97 LT4's, I believe the rarest color was the Teal of 96 and the Polo Green of 97. Both are unbelievably beautiful when clean.

just wondering, I have a buddy selling his white 97 SS. I would buy it, but alas, I already have a Z28. Now if he had only sold it to me a year ago
