i have been thru 4 already this year and it is getting very annoying.

 

It takes several years for me to go through a headlight..

 

I hope you are just replacing the 9006 bulb and not the complete housing.

Bulbs aren't too expensive although 4 in one year is a little high.

But if you're replacing the whole sealed-beam unit...

 

none in town sells just the bulb s i have to buy the hole unit 25$ apiece or at least that is what they say

i thought it might have been voltage spikes from my subs (although there are no big coils in most amps to collapse the field that creates a voltage spike and my 1 farad cap should have filtered any voltage spikes to begin with) so i sold them (i converted to rock so i don't need them any way) but i still blow them and it doesnt matter where i buy them from either.

same factory bulbs from 94'...still bright as can be

 

Just turned 150K miles on my 95 Z28, only replaced the low beams once on each side.

 

yeah i go through bulbs just he same 4 this year already it seems to be a voltage spike right after you start it up when its cold out it will almost touch that line before 18 volts on the guage so what is that probably 15 or 16 volts **** just last week i turned my lights on right after starting it and popped both my low beams at the same damn time really pissed me off
