Ive driven a few times when the gauge is on E.

When it was on E like towards the bottom of the E I put 15 gallons back in. So I say when its on E you have a half a gallon. LOL

I loved my Durango, When you fill it up. SHOOTS right up and goes down as you use it, dosent go up and down...but then again the Durango gas gas moved as much as my speedometer (in a bad 8mpg truck) lol

my tank reads exactly how it is as far as i can tell. I can run it all the way down to the empty line and have never run out of gas yet but when mine is running it tends to wobble a bit with the higher and lower bit but I have to stop or be running on cruise control to have it read right. I have bigger tires on the back and I think this has helped my fuel gauge to tell correctly. Either that or I'm gonna find out the hard way.

I have an 87 Iroc-z 305 TPI

They are I thought I had a prob till I did my research here...now I know thats just the way it is. I can take mine down to E without running out...but when its on E its EMPTY...no margin for error. In other words get gas PRONTO lol
