i think SAR is a little light but not certain on that. i weighed my car at a local junk yard and it weighed 3720 with me (about 220lbs at that time) in it but i was almost out of gas. i have a 95 t/a with a ford 9". i also had a big speaker box, the spare tire, and all the other goodies.

You guys are all heavyweights. Mine 93 was only 1380lbs w/o driver,

doors, hatch, hood, rear end, fenders, bumpers, wheels, tires, motor, tranny, and a few other inconsequential items...

3805 with me in it, Im about 180, so thats 3625 and I have a 8 point roll bar thats about 100 lbs, 3525, the procharger with the intercooler Im sure is atleast another 50-75 so that would put me in the 3400 range if I wouldnt have so much extra stuff.

Re: How much does your LT1 weigh?

Found a backhalved, caged 1st gen for a motor blower transplant. I got much more coin selling the parts than I could have gotten for the compete 93 rolling chassis. Besides, parts off the car will be running in 4th gens all over the country - not much waste at all...

Getting back to the original post though, the car was 3150 with weld draglites, fiberglass hood, no backseats, no front swaybar, no AC or heater. I later took out the front bumper, but did not get a chance to weigh it (at least before the car was parted out)

Mine was 3220 without me in it and almost a full tank of gas.
It still had the bumper supports in it and full stereo with stealthbox in the rear.
I have since removed the bumper supports and the stereo, I hope to be a little over 3000 lbs with fumes in the tank.

Re: How much does your LT1 weigh?

my 95 vert weighed 3900, (?) at the time my dumb a** had 20" sprees on it and unnessessary sound system, but that shouldnt have added such weight, ohh and a convertible roll bar too, but still heavy.

Re: How much does your LT1 weigh?

3200 without me in it. Fully optioned 95, leather, t top, bose, etc. I also took out all the seats, spare+jack, front sway bar, 1/4 tank of gas. Any lt1 under 3200, 3150 is a light car for our standards. ls1's have a alumimun block (90lbs diff i think), Plastic gas can(10-15 lbs), almumiun driveshaft(10-15lbs) so seeing them around 3100 is not too hard to reach.

Re: How much does your LT1 weigh?

At the dump my car weighed in at 3380 with me in it and half tank. I'm 160, so it's about 3220.
