How do i install a PCV valve?

How do i install a PCV valve?

i'm guessing this is very simple thing to do but i was just never able to locate it or do it. i have a 1993 Z28, i just need to know where it is, how to remove it, and how to install it. thanks guys.

You may have a U-shaped hose feeding your PCV, but just pull the hose off, pull out the valve and replace with a new one.

yea, if the old one rattles (shake it to see), it's still good
even though you might as well replace it, you can keep the old one for a backup for whatever reason

Yeah you might as well replace it. Even if it does seem to be in working order. For a $2-3 dollar part it's well worth it. Grab it, pull it out. Pop it off the hose and go backwards with the new one. Maybe 20 seconds of your time.
