how do i fix this?

i have no idea. im not one with the upholstery




as you can see it doesnt exactly reach far enough to cover the tear back up sooo i dunno what to do?

Personally, I'm not quite the upholstery guy myself either. I'd probably take it to one of the auto upholstery shops here in the area and have them put a new headliner in. That's what I did with my old car (which was a hardtop) they charged me $100. I took it out myself and saved a little money there. I imagine it might be even cheaper for you as yours is a T-top car and wouldn't need as much fabric as a hardtop. Just a suggestion...

You can do it yourself. Use some new fabric and attach it with 3M spray fabric adhesive. Go to a fabric store, they'll have everything you'll need. It's cake.

Another option is replace it with an aftermarket ABS plastic unit - Eckler's Camaro sells them.

There are stores on the net that sell full headliners for around $150 so, i would suggest going that rout rahter then trying to stretch that up and over the lip and rist it ripping somewhere else from the tension after time
