How can I support my exhaust?

You know how the factory exhuast has that "hanger" comming from the back of the tranny? Well it doesn't exactly fit with my mufflex y-pipe, and I'm looking for some ways to support the intermediate exhaust more.

Right now part of the exhaust bangs (not hard.. but still..) against the underside of the car, under certain rpms and load conditions.

I would like to be able to come up with something that does not involve welding if possible... but that really leaves me with no ideas.

Thanks!

Any decent exhaust shop can fabricate a hanger.
