Hooking up tach, need to verify which wire is the tach feed

This will be for a 95z -- OBD-1

I did some searching and what I found was that the tach feed wire is the white wire on the red pcm connector, pin #13.

Is this correct? I have also heard of picking it up at the coil. What wire would it be at the coil, and where is the prefered place to get the tach signal (coil or pcm)?

thanks
