Hood scoops
Re: Hood scoops
i have removed the plastic pieces, i also drilled out all the lil fake holes in the scoop screen thing to make it look more stock. It actually helped out a lil bit in keeping the engine cool when i was moving, also it let the heat escape easier when the car was parked. IT made end up fading your plastic since you will aslo have to cut the heat shield around the bottom of the hood. It was worth it to me, and original for around here...but toookk a long time

Re: Hood scoops
Nope sorry i dont, i traded the car in on a 00 SS. I can tell you though that you would have had to be looking for it to be different to notice it. It looked the exact same (from the outside) except the holes were drilled out. Its really easy to do, just time consuming if decide to drill the holes out and keep the scoop screen.I would suggest that though, it looks really funny with them not there!

If you take the fake plastic scoops out there are large holes in the hood where they were..
