I recently installed a SLP Ultra-Z hood. I got it painted and everything went fine until I had to put in the hood scoop grill. I have no idea how to do it. The instructions don't say anything about it; they just say how to mount the hood. I assume installing the Ultra-Z grill is the same as the stock SS hood, so does anyone have any idea to to do it? It doesn't seem like there is any glue or anything, just the grill with a plastic flap on the bottom. Any ideas???

The plastic grill on my 96 SS style hood has plastic barbs molded in that click into the edge of the hood opening.

I've got that hood on my car.
There is a hole in each end of the grill. You'll need use the grill as a template to drill holes in the hood to match. Then use the two plastic push fasteners to hold it in.
