Hood Recommendation on a bad day

This morning my Viper 2 way is going off. I instantly run out to my driveway with a baseball bat in hand (where the camaro lives) and i find the rear quarter hit in and a saturn speeding away down my street.

According to my insurance they got the hood too

With the money i'm getting back, what hood does everybody recommend for a 94 Z?? Pics and Prices would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The cowl hood and the traditional SS hood are my two favorites. Check out the various supporting vendors on here, a few of them carry hoods.

I'm still kind of new to the forum. where may I find some of the supporting vendors? Money is kind of tight (for now). I was thinking along the lines of a 2' cowl hood. it's more so for appearance than anything... i don't need a ridiculous cowl.. just something to make it appear more aggressive.

Go to the for sale/ wtb section of the forums... you will see a section for supporting vendors. post up in there what your thinking about getting.

One thing you might want to be careful of, is posting, on a public forum, that you are defrauding your insurance company...just a thought. But, I would definitely go for the Harwood.

I personally like the ultra-z hood. I may get it one day when I can actually convince myself to buy something that has no practical purpose.

the ultra z is an amazing hood, BUT its not looking like insurance is going to cover it... only up to a certain amount so money is a bit tight for the moment. I was hoping along the lines of $400 tops..

hell if money wasn't the issue i'd for sure go with the SLP functional ram setup

look at the harwood cowl hoods, they are a bit wider than normal cowls and flow excellently with the LT1 body
