Hi Amp Alternators?

I was wondering where I could find Higher Amp Alternators, and also would there be anything else I would need to upgrade along with the installation of one...Would it be a direct bolt on and plug and play or would I run the risk of hurting other things due to increased amperage?

Reason being is become I'm planning to install an Amp along with several other electrical components and desire to not have to be conservative on how much I run at one time...

This isn't an LS1 Tech question. Please read the sticky at the top of the forum.

On my LT1, I changed to a 4 gauge cable from the alternator to the battery.
