help with gmpartsdirect description??

help with gmpartsdirect description??

i need a drivers side bracket guide thingy for my seatbelt.... the square plastic deal that screws in the headrest

but gmpartsdirect only refers to it as left and right side

maybe im retarded.,. but what is generally considered to be the left and right side?

help?

On all vehicles, airplanes, trains, auto's, ships, etc. Left and right are as you sit in the vehicle. The drivers side is left, passengers side is right.
Well ship are really port and starboard, but we don't want to go there.

Well ship are really port and starboard, but we don't want to go there.
I you have a RH drive car, the passenger side is on the left.

Universally, L and R is from the driver's positiion, facing forward.

I'd bring my VIN to a dealer to be absoultely sure you get the right part/color. The convertible ones have a slot in them - much easier to replace.
