Smile Hello All!

Hi,
I have a friend who just got an 77 Camaro Z28. The driver side seat track is shot & our legs are too short to have fun with this Very Fast machine! This is from a short trip where I drove & it has Definate Potential!! The thing has a new engine with a Monster cam (unknown) I am in need of the Drivers Seat Track so he can drive his car!! Anyone have any ideas where I may find one? I maybe should post in Parts Wanted but here I get to say HI to all of you! I have an 87 Regal 3.8 Turbo LTD but know little about these cars & he knows a lot less than I do!! Any help is appreciatted!! We are all GM people so anything you can do would be great! Sorry for such a Long First Post!!
CHEERS!!

Re: Hello All!

I would try to check local junk yards, and maybe EBAY. Alot of stuff on this board is 4th gen, so I don't think this would be the best resource. Welcom to the borad.

Re: Hello All!

Your best bet is going to be to call Year One or National Parts Depot. I had a 77 Z back in the day (ok, not so long ago). It was a fun car, but finding anything for the interior was a royal PITA.

Thanks Guys! Think parts are going to be a challenge to find for his car.

Re: Hello All!

Thanks Again! Site looks promising after a quick peek! His car is all motor & powertrain & a quickie paint job with no attention to the details like tail lights, mouldings/weatherstrip etc. Going to make it look as nice as it goes. The thing has some definate potential to run good times with learning how to shift it properly for 1/4 racing! His Camaro & my Grand National & we have lots of winter projects to complete! Good thing is he is parked in my garage so we have time to play with his new toy! Finally convinced him that GM beats his old Mustang any day!! He is converted finally!!

Re: Hello All!

You should be able to track down the parts you need at a local wrecker or pick your part.... there are still lots of late 2nd gens biting the dust everyday
