Heater Core/Weight Reduction help

While I have my dash off, I was wondering what heater parts if any can I remove for some weight savings? The heater has not worked for some time after installing my 160* Thermo and I have already removed the coolant lines running back to the firewall after my EWP install. I want to retain full function of the A/C as I live in Arizona. All help is appreciated.

you can't remove anything(well, nothing that would help with wieght reduction)

the biggest wieght loss will be pluging the heater hoses at the water pump and blowing the coolant out of the heater core

the core probably only wieghs a pound or so empty, so no real point removing it, plus, you can always hook the hoses back up if needed
