Healight Linkage Stopper Broke Off
Healight Linkage Stopper Broke Off
I replied to someone else's post but wanted to create a new one so that if someone had this problem, they could find it easier by the title.
The linkage that rotates to lift/lower the light hits a cylindrical stop to hold the light at the correct position. That stopper is made out of a hard and brittle plastic and that broke off on my car. Unfortunately it is a large part that goes around the whole front of the car so I made this metal bracket to replace it:

The headlight motor attaches to a metal wall with 3 bolts. This mounts with those same 3 bolts but on the other side of the metal wall (side that faces the headlight). This replaced the broken TOP stopper. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps someone!
P.S. Not sure if this will work for the LS1 TA's too. Posted it in general just in case or maybe it will atleast give someone an idea of how to fix their's if it isn't the same.
