headlights
Re: headlights
Easy!
This was the first "mod" I did to my car within about ~2 weeks of owning it!
Ok, you know where the red LED is for your alarm system? (in the middle of the big plastic dash pad under the windshield?) well beside that is a light sensor. That sensor tells the lights to come on automatically. SO, here's what you do:
- Use a flathead screwdriver, or something of that sort, to pop-up that big plastic panel, all the way from the driver's side to the passenger's side. It'll give some resistance, but don't worry, it's just clips that hold it in, and they'll let go.
- Once you've got that panel popped-up, locate the light sensor ... it has just 2 wires going to it (don't mess with the alarm LED
). Now you can do 2 things: 1) cut the two wires, and splice them together, or 2) unplug the sensor, and use a paper clip or something to join the two terminals, thus, bypassing the light sensor.
- After you've bypassed the sensor, you can snap the dash panel back into place, and you're done!
NOW, you have FULL CONTROL over your headlights
. ON means ON, and OFF means OFF!!!!!
Enjoy being able to drive in "stealth mode" at night

Re: headlights
heres some pics incase you need them. I did the same thing
this is under the dash

the little red clip is the alarm light, the black one next to it is what you want. you can just see the connector that I used to jump the wires
the pen is pointing at the one you want

and this is the sensor (with wires removed) You just have to twist it and it will come out

I just cut and connected the wires that went into it. But I would suggest if you go this route to leave som wire on the connector so you can put it back in if you ever sell the car
