When you push the button in it doesn't work? It's been a while since I"ve had to use hazards but it seems like you push the button in to turn them on, then pull out on it to turn them off. You shouldn't have to spin anything. If it is indeed broken I'm not sure how to fix it- it's not a common thing to have break.

Every GM hazzard button I've used in the last 2 decades has had a similar mechanism. Push in the center to turn on the hazzards, and pull out the outer ring to turn them off.

No twisting involved.

But maybe... just maybe Camaros ARE different. But you may want to look and see if the **** pushes in.

I have nothing that will push in, maybe that's my problem. Maybe it broke off? Here's a pic. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2035868

yes you do, push in on the center round part, it should push in and click, thenyou pull out on the piece that you are spining and they turn off

I remembered i couldnt find it either. i was on my way down to florida and it was pouring, so i decided to slow down and put the hazards on so people could see me better. To my surprise i couldnt find one. i looked everywhere, or i thought i looked everywhere, then i came to a conclusion that my car doesn have hazard lights
I just found it couple of days ago...lol

Re: hazard light button broken

my cruise control is faded, and when I first got it I didn't think I had it...I didn't care, but I saw a pic online of a camaro cruise control lever, and I was like wow...that looks like mine w/o the lettering.

Personally though, I like how the cruise control switch is hidden. I hate seeing other cars where its on the center console or by the AC controls, etc...they hate it too because I always end up pusing it to turn on their hazards.

Re: hazard light button broken

Finally! Thanks for all this thread guys! I was so dumb!
I drive my ´95 Z28 for two years and didn´t know how to use hazard light, but I knew that this function exists in our cars, also I knew where this mechanism is situated but thought that it was broken by someone who owned this car before me. Some 3gen guys in my country said that f-bodies doesn´t have this function at all. All that I could do is to spin that button cap clockwise or counterclockwise like some kind of monkey...

But all of you saved me, cause in Ukraine we also often use hazard lights to say thank you to someone on the road. Now I can do it easily insteed of quick reswitching turn lights.
