My hatch won't release when I hit the button on my key chain. I can hear the noise of the relay under the drivers dead petal but no noise from the hatch releasing. It seems to work sometimes and other times not. So it seems like wiring to me. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

 

I agree w/ wiring or the latch mechanism "freezing" up.

 

Mine did the same thing. I found a trick on installuniversity.com to piggy back an extra spring on the mechanism that pops the hatch clear of the lock. Pretty easy to do, took me less than five minutes, now it works beautifully.

 

Yea, I guess I'll take a look at the wiring here when I get time. The InstallUniversity spring mod is a good idea too but my spring right now isn't even releasing. Thanks for the input.
