ive already got a G2 CAI and aftermarket elbow i was going to throw that in there with it. And i read the thread you post there. i apreciate but all everyone talks about is how much power it wont produce. I interested in th egas mileage aspect of it ive got plenty of power with my heads/cam, but i want to increae my gas mileage a bit. Not power. Now I once rented a Viper 5 years ago from Exotic Car World in Dallas for prom and the owner had one of thse things or something similar to it in it. Could it really be that much crap?
Also has anyone actually tried this or is it just skepticsm?

You know what, your last post actually made me think for a moment.
You're still not going to get any real-world knowledge here though. It's just too ridiculous to warrant experimentation. Seriously.

You have an EFI engine. The valve timing events are going to be the same no matter what, due to your cam. Your O2 sensors are going to decide whether the injectors add more or less fuel based on oxygen content in the exhaust. There is NO way some fancy looking piece of metal stuck in your intake tract is going to effect that in any way. If it DID increase airflow to your engine, the injectors would add fuel to compensate, which in turn would LOWER your average mileage. Their claims that it boosts power AND increases mileage are pure bull****. Your PCM regulates your A/F ratio. It's a waste of money. By the way... the reason they have any good testimonials on there is because the people are too embarrassed to admit they dropped $60 on nothing more than a cut up aluminum can.
Re: Has anyone tried one these turbonator things?
In all honesty, I wouldn't waste your money on that product, but instead use it towards a set of plugs, wires, air filter, fuel filter, ect. and give the car a good tune up if you haven't already done so. That will help your fuel economy much more in my opinion.
Re: Has anyone tried one these turbonator things?
I could see it helping a carburated car, better atomization, but unless you could put one in each runner just before the valve I can't see it doing anything but takeing you money. It swirls the air intake, but then the air has to go through the TB, the runners, and the valves. That air has changed directions so may times that the swirl is just a memory by the time it see any fuel to mix with. Just my two cents.

Unfortunately, the Turbonators do not stack HP gains like most other products do. I tried that trick of using 3 of them in line in the intake and only saw a 70-75hp gain total. One alone got me 40hp, adding two more only saw an additional 30-35hp gain.
