Hard time replacing wheel studs with longer ones.

I have a 96 SS and am currently trying to swap out my stock wheel studs for longer ones because I'm going with a Weld Draglite. I got the stock ones out and can't get the long ones in because theres not enough room to get em in straight. Do I need to pull out the axles for this. Hope not. Thanx

If you cannot rotate the axle to a spot where there is enough room to insert the longer stud, then yes, you will have to release the axle to get room.

Dang it. Is that a pretty easy thing to do? Never touched an axle before.
