lol... so they hate all the cars that are cheap and fast....
Why? Because they paid a lot of money for slow cars...

 

One of their posters got it right. The reason they hate our cars is because we are easily able to beat them in a straight line while our cars cost 1/4 of what theirs do.

 

Well, they seem to hate all the same things about our cars that we do the rattles, blindspots, low build quality etc. However, one of the big arguments was the IMAGE and with most BMW drivers image is everything, thats why they waste there money on a underpowered wanna be sports car.

They hate mustangs because kids own them, they hate our cars because they are cheap cars that apparently have crappy everything includeing motor (outdated according to them ) tranny, and suspension. But we are fast in a strait line and if half of these people were as smart as they try to let on they would realize that a CAMARO (NOT Camero) was designed for DRAG RACING. I would like to see a M3 do 12's with DR'S and a LID & Exhaust they are more concerned if there leather driving gloves were made in what part of italy.

I think they truely dont like our cars due to the fact we hand them there *** every time and they hate american cars. They even hate the new Z06 which i think is FAR ahead of any 220hp M3.

Well, looks like they don't like anything American except the C6. Go figure. They probably would vote for the C6 as well, but they know it will spank them silly in a staight line, and in the twisties. You can just feel how far their noses are up in the air by reading a couple of pages of their posts.

They're just jealous that our engines make more N/A and F/I power with an older and more simplified design than their new engines that are physically larger and heavier.

People like those who post on the M3 forums are part of the reason why I will never own an M3. I never want anybody to think that I think I am better then anybody because of what car I drive.

Yeah, an in the same regard, I also wonder what stereotype I get put in because I drive a Camaro.

I can tell ya, I'm no redneck with a mullet. That stereotype drives me nuts, especially when you visit other car boards and realize that the knowledge of automobiles, in general, on this site is huge compared to so many other car boards that I've visited.

I agree with that... if I ever hit it rich when I am out of school, I'd consider a 3 series as a daily driver but I'd still get something like a C5, and build it up...


Who cares if my race car has a nice ride, I want it to be fast, not a comfortable.

Definitely... I do love this board for that... we have tons of owners off all types around. Big knowledge base, and it seems like we get the cool upper end car owners because they are willing to "come down to our level" to share our common interest of automobiles.
