I'm looking to find the times set by GM to do repairs. I can't find them online through google, I just get links to guides to buy. Anyone know a site where I can find out this info?

 

I doubt you could find GM times. We can find times using ALLDATA, which are probably the same or very close to GM's times. If you want to, shoot me a PM and I'll look up whatever you need. Make sure you tell me year, make, model, and the part(s) being replaced.

 

The Chilton & Motors Labor time guides all have a "factory time" column posted next to the "recommended labor time" column in their books. It is usually pretty dead on, but not always exact to the tenth.

Also don't forget to account for any add times for diagnosis or operations necessary to complete the repair, if applicable (i.e. evac & recharge when replacing an a/c component)

If you know anybody in the insurance biz (or call your agent) they use Mitchell or similar program that uses the same calculators for time.
