Getting window up with bad motor, and no engine, harness, or PCM

I have had my driver side window down for 2.5 years, while we built the new motor for the car. I took the interior out just for this reason. With the floorboards in bad shape, I want to get a new window motor in the car, and then be able to put the window up... however I have no engine, wireharness, PCM, ect in the car.

Is there a way to run power to the switch or something to get the window to go up and down that way I can change the motor out, and get the window up so I can start redoing the interior?

You should just be able to touch a DC battery to the power leads on the motor and get it to go up or down.

Thats kind of what I thought... but any ideas on which wires these would be? Would that also send the power that needs to be at the switch to send the signal? I know Ill need to move it up and down to switch out the motor... but then I just want it up for good after that.

Use D and E, if you still have the express down module hooked up. If not, you will have to jump it directly on the motor leads.

Ok... so what actually makes the window GO UP? Since the switch isnt hooked up, how do I make it go up? Didnt seem to work when I jumped those 2 connections... or am I just not doing something right?

N/M The battery I was using only had 10.X volts. Im charging it now... that was probably the problem.

If the window motor is bad, jumping it isn't going to do any good. If it's not bad, why would you want to change it? It will need changing soon enough.
10V should be enough to run the motor, provided you have enough amps.
There are only two leads, there is no + or -. One way is for up the opposite is for down.
