Getting a good seal on the doors

What would be the best way to seal the doors, specifically around the windows, to keep water out?

I was powerwashing my Z the other day, and when I opened my door I noticed a few droplets of water on the seats.

Not that this is a problem or an issue of any kind... I know these things happen with our cars, it's just the way it's designed.

Anway, I just wanted to know of maybe a good way to get a better seal on the doors? I'm not looking to jimmy-rig it, but rather do a high quality finish on it, and have a great, permanent seal on the doors.

Any suggestions or what materials I could use?

A couple of drips is not so abnormal, but you can find some help here.

Thanks, man... that's a pretty useful site. I'll bookmark it.

But... the problem isn't with the windows. I mean, it seals great in that department.

Where the water is coming through is right where the back of the door and the window meet. If I look at the seals on the chassis of the car in this area (not the door itself) I can actually see light coming through. This is where the water is entering.

If I had my car with me, i'd take a picture of it and post it, but I'll have to wait a bit before I can do that.

You cannot "powerwash" around the window seals on any car that doesnt have an upper door frame. Subframe connectors should help if it leaks any other time.

Yeah, I know that. My wife's ZX2 (yeah I know... ha ha) used to leak when ever she would run it thru the powerwasher. That's why I know it's not a problem with sealing or anything.

I was just wondering if a company out there sold an aftermarket seals/weatherstrips that would help prevent this.
