Not sure if anyone has any insight on this but I thought I'd give it a shot.

The night before last my 2000 'maro was sitting outside my house and was broken into. They stole my XM radio, Amp, and my JVC KD-AR5000 touchscreen head unit. The head unit was torn out, and then the wires in the wiring harness clipped. My biggest concern is that now I now longer have gauges. Spedometer, Odometer, Tripodometer, RPM gauge, all sit at nothing. The battery gauge works as well as the oil temp gauge, but nothing else. Any ideas on how to fix this?

oh wow that really sucks. You should check your fuses.. there in the side where u open the door on the drivers side?

 

make sure no wires are touching before u put the new one in

 

Also suggest removing the dash and checking the connectors. They could have been broken or ripped out.

 

Fuses are fine and I checked all the connections, they seemed to be fine too. I dropped it off at my local auto shop today and they are going to look to see if a circuit was blown... thanks for the help guys.
