Gauge cluster question

Will a gauge cluster out of an 02 work in a 00 Fbod? My friend needs one and he found one from an 02 but isn't sure if it will fit.

Re: Gauge cluster question

Ok thanks. But isn't it going to read the mileage off the 02 instead of his?

Yes, it will.

It is not easy to find someone with the equipment to adjust the digital odometer. I've heard there are places that can do it, but never actually seen it first hand.

Re: Gauge cluster question

look in your phonebook for speedometer repair and ask if they can reset the mileage on the odo to match the original one
