gauge cluster and odometer ?

on a 95 can i swap out odometers on the clusters. i want to for 2 reasons. one the gauge cluster i bought has a broken odometer. but also i want to move the odometer from the current set to the new one to show actual millage of my care. or am i better off selling the one i had and finding another one with lower miles and then crank it up to what i have on the car?

Yes, they are easily interchangeable, as long as your careful and not scared to take apart the gauge cluster, the actual odometer comes out as one unit bolted in the cluster.

you can swap out the entire assembly or just pull out the actual dials themself they pop out as one peice, well slides in the left and locks in a holder on the right. it wont fall apart or anything just make sure to not lose the washer and the spring on the side of the shaft.

Its really simple just time consuming, i do have a extra odometer dial somewhere i do beileve.

no safety, but there is built in safegaurds in the pcm i do beileve to verify actual mileage to help prevent fraud with it.

The odometer is alot harder to set at a exact number then you might think it is.
