Gas gauge

Gas gauge

I have a 94 z28 and would like to know how to fix the gas gauge it doesn't work at the moment I got the car like that I change the fuel pump and chouldnt figure out what parts I need for gas gauge or do I have to go in the dash?

This will help isolate to either the sending unit/tank end or wiring to dash/guage end. Going to have to get under it w/an ohm meter. Ref shobx.com 4th Gen LT1 F-body Tech Articles

The float level sensor is part of the fuel pump support assembly. The wiring goes through the same harness connector as the fuel pump. Would have been ideal time to check it all out while you were changing the fuel pump.

Bought my 95Z28 convertible two weeks ago. The gauge reads over full and is bone dry above E. It cannot be calibrated, can it?
