Arrow gas cap question

will a gas cap from a 01 camaro z28 fit my 98 z28?

thanks. i just want to be sure.

I think thats because they switched to a teathered cord instead of a full removeable one, but the threading is the same.

go to walmart and buy one of those generic gas caps that they sell. they fit. I had some ******* steal mine one time while i was crapping in a gas station, so i bought onf of those walmart ones with a key

because i bought one from autozone and it didnt fit, it was close, but no cigar.
