Fuel addatives?

Has any one used any kind of injector or fuel system treatment? Are these recommended?

Re: Fuel addatives?

I put a bottle of STP Super Concentrated Fuel System/Injector cleaner at every oil change.

Techron just might be the best.

For the price, and being a one-step process - IMO it is.

I'd like to see that too. In theory anyways, fuel sold (in the US, at least) is supposed to have the neccessary detergents to keep this crap clean to begin with. If your motor has gotten gummed up enough to be able to feel a difference, i'm thinking the gas treatment won't help and you'd be better off seafoamin' the crap out of it.

I personally was very pleased with how RXP worked on my engine.

EGR can really change that along with the valve cover breather lines. That spews in some extra crap that blows past the injectors and such, and is the cause for the black soot all over the inside of the intake.
