hey guys just bought my 95 camaro and the plates came in the mail today.
car doesnt have any place to put the front liscense plate and i really dont want to bend it and make it look all ghetoo but i dont want to get pulled over either for not having it on there.

anyone know where i can get a front plate bracket or holder? also does anyone have pictures of their camaro with the front plate so i can see what it looks like on there?

Check out the Classifieds-section. Im sure there's somebody parting out a car. Or Ebay.

Not sure how strict they are in WA, but it is required here in TX, too and I haven't had a front plate on any of my F-bodies since 1999. No problems with inspection, cops etc.

i'm sure that other parts stores would be able to get you one as well.

 

Honestly you dont need one. On the rare times they pull you over they will just give you warning. My car is a 93 and has been in IL its whole life w/ no front plate no problems only 1 warning.

 

SLP sells a front license plate bracket for about 20 bucks directly on their website.

 

That all depends on never running into one a-hole cop. Hard to do in some places.
I got mine from the dealer, it was inexpensive

 

I just stick the front plate between the dash and the windshield, front play ruins the look.

 

you can get a ticket for that. bc its not on the "most front" position and its a hazard if you get in a car accident.

by the way. to the person that started the post. If you pay for shipping, i'll send you 1 in about a week or so(im in dallas right now. and i have 2 of them in San antonio, but wont be down there till next week)

or just keep it off. they look gay on our cars, so i dont use one either. i've only gotten warnings, never a ticket for it. and if i do get a ticket once every few yrs for it. Its VERY worth it.

 

Don i appreciate it, if i dont have one by the time you are ready id gladly take one off your hands.

does anyone have a picture of the SLP one mounted? i looked at the site and am kinda reluctant cuase id ont know what it will look like mounted.

i wouldnt have the front bumper on if i didnt have to BUT it is the law and i dont want ANY reasons for the police to pull me over.

 

if you don't want to ruin the front of you car you can put the plate on your front air dam...

mines been there for 6 years i've nvere been pulled over, i think it looks pretty cool too. just get some self tapping screws and a few washers and its done. i have some pics in my sig on cardomain.

I put the SLP one on mine, so if i ever remove the front plate, I wont have holes in the front of my car.
