Re: Free Headers......
R&D on headders, probably would be like 6 months. Why do you think they can afford to give away free installed headders. I think they are the ones that are getting the good end of the deal, unless you don't mind driving your car for a while.
Think about it. If they are borrowing a car for 6 months, a $500 set of headders is cheap. I know I wouldn't let someone borrow my car for 6 months for $500. JMO

Re: Free Headers......
I dont' think that they would keep the car for 6 months.. Ask the email.. On Hotrod TV it only takes them like a day to mock up a header and then use it as a jig to create a real header and then test fit it..Probably not more than a week.. But I'm just guessing..

Re: Free Headers......
I called them up and they said they might be able to use my car, a 01 TA I had to send them the smog information to see. I haven't got a response back yet, os either they're not interestd or very slow at responding, as its been two days. I notice in the add it says for 95-99 years? This seems a bit weird, unless they're thinking the more free flowing manifolds came out in 2000 thus not as much potential, but still I would think they would want one past 99 just to see what it would produce power wise, and to make sure there were no other changes that would effect bolting up to the car. I don't think I could give somebody my car for 6 months or even two months--much to long for someone to play with my car. I'm very curious to see what they say. He couldn't answer any of my questions at the time of the call, so hopefully he will explain something in the email.
Re: Free Headers......
I vaguely remember years ago Hot Rod rented a Neon and threw nitrous in it and hit the track for their "$20 race car"...or something like that. You'd think these companies could do something similar. Unless, of course, rental companies have caught on to silly stunts like these and have begun taken legal action. I wonder if I still have that issue...it was friggin hilarious!
