Re: Foglight Question.

Hi there,
When I changed the front fog lamp bulb on my 95 I comletely removed the lamp unit.Above the centre of the lamp there should be a spring loaded screw which can be adjusted to aim the light beam of the lamp, remove this screw.Either side of the lamp there should be a plastic rivet which the lamp unit pivots on,gently remove these with a flat bladed screw-driver.The lamp unit will then be free of the car, then just unplug the bulb and fit in the new one. This is how I changed my bulb, don't know if this is the correct procedure but it worked for me,best of luck,Mark.

It worked!!!! But I lost one of the rivits (damnit!). Do you think an auto shop would carry a rivet like that?

Re: Foglight Question.

Hi,
Glad you got the bulb sorted. When I did mine I broke one of the plastic rivets.I shouldn't worry about it too much. The lamp is held pretty securely by the spring loaded screw,so it's not going to fall off.I just put a regular screw in there,it's only a pivot point.
I would imagine that the plastic rivets would only be available from the main dealer.
I love my camaro, but I wish Chevrolet had put a little more thought into the replacement of wear and tear parts, like bulbs etc.
Hope this helps,Mark.
