Fog lights to high beams?

Can I buy a set of high beams for a 93-97 and swap them with the fog lights? Is it just a simple swap?

do you just want a brighter fog light??

there are some lights on the market that will bolt up with minor mods to the brackets that are as bright or brighter than the headlights.

try the appearance section

I don't really want brighter FOG ligts, I want brights in place of them. just so i could have more lighted road with the lows and highs (swapped with the fog lights)

Are your fog lights wired separately? Normally fog lights will only work when the low beams are on and driving lights will only work with high beams.

I realized earlier that when your brights are on, the low beams are too. That's basically what I wanted, so it defeats the purpose. I'd love the have the fogs as highs and wire them so that they on on when the brights are.

To disable just the "automatic headlight" feature, you pop up the big plastic dash pad, find the light sensor (not the alarm LED) and either A) unplug the sensor, and use a paperclip or something to join the 2 terminals together, or B) cut the wires, and splice them together (on the car side, of course).

That makes the car "think" that it's daytime all the time, and therefore, no "auto" headlights . I did that, as well as the fog-light "fix" within about ~2 weeks of owning my car, and I've never regretted it once .
