I had to order a special 8AN fitting and hose to use as a blowdown tube for my nitrous bottle. This is my first time dealing with these types of hoses and I got the hose and fitting mailed seperately. I am assuming that you need some sort of crimping tool to join the AN fitting to the hose? If so, does anyone know where I can purchase one, or would a auto parts store like Auto Zone or Murrays have one available and be able to do this for me considering this will probably be the first/last time I deal with the AN style plumbing.

 

Post pics of the fitting. They make different styles. The ones I'm using are reusable. They use an inner flare and an outer coupling that pinches the end of the hose and holds it by compression. They make ones that can be crimped on as well. If that's the kind you have, NAPA provides that service.
