Dude, it's the same as your 94 Z unless you get one with 2.73's or an LS1, why do you want 1/4 times?

Re: Firebird Formula Q's

I was thinking the same thing except Formulas always seem to be faster, that is double for black ones.

If the bird looks molded in then it's probably been painted over

My old 95 Formula definitely ran strong, it ran 13.74 at 100 mph in 100% bone stock trim! It was a hardtop automatic, and didn't have many options, just traction control and the 3.23 rear end.

Re: Firebird Formula Q's

I ran a 13.76 @ 102.28 with a 2.4 60' mark bone stock with 60K miles. That's was the first time ever at the track for me, my 1st pass of the day, they just got worse from there.

Re: Firebird Formula Q's

People said they may run a little faster because of the weight so I just wanted some proof. And the times I see are giving me some proof. I will definitely look at formulas if I get a new car. And if anyone has any more comments keep them comming.

You could get cassette or CD, but not Bose (besides, why would you want a Blose anyway ). Firebirds had base or 10 speaker stereos (200W if I remember correctly) up through 95 or 96, and then had the option for the Monsoon 500W system (basically the 10 speaker system with a higher wattage amp). Either the 10 speaker or Monsoon stereos were way better than the Camaro Bose unit, but while good for a factory unit are nowhere close to audiophile quality.

Yes, you could get the same 10 speaker CD system in the Formula that came in the Trans Ams.

Re: Firebird Formula Q's

Thanks guys. Is that the same system that came in the firebirds? I used to have one and I believe it had a 10 speaker system.

Re: Firebird Formula Q's

For what head units and speakers are going for these days you can set yourself up with a nice system that will sound much better than any factory, CD eating, disfunctional, unit anyway
