I won a magnaflow catback form ebay. What kind of gains should i expect?

Agreed. Chambered mufflers don't give good power gains, but they sound nice

Magnaflow is a straight through design and is one of the top flowing mufflers.

Cool, i guess i got lucky the whole set up for about 250, i do have to replace one of the tips. Can i expect 10 hp 10 tq? should i add a y-pipe? I don't trust the shops here to install any headers.

If your not replacing headers then don't mess with the y-pipe, just a waste of money.

I wasn't overly impressed with the noise gains from the Magnaflow. Still a nice catback though.

Little horsepower/torque gain on a stock engine.
LARGE decibel gain however.
It'll sound MUCH meaner than a stock muffler.
