Fiberglass hood bouncing at HW speeds.

My fiberglass hood bounces like crazy at HW speeds.. It's not TOO bad, but if I watch it I get nervous. I just don't want it breaking..

My FT tires have flat spots on them, so I get a bit of vibration and that's causing the hood to bounce, but I'm wondering if it SHOULD bounce.

Is this normal?

What are the tolerances of this? I think having the hood bounce at 120mph shouldn't be too bad, seeing as I have enough wind resistance on it to hold it down.

Sorry if this is a stupid/no0bish question..

Have you adjusted the rubber stops?

Is the whole hood bouncing, or is it flexing?

Take the hood off and lay some more glass underneath

^ I wish I had stops at the back, cowl, of the hood. That would solve it. I think I'm gonna do he perm marker test on the stops in the front. -Kind of like the swipe test.

my stock steel hood bounces at the cowl at regular highway speed or 100, so i would think with a lighter, more flexable hood it would be somewhat normal depending on how far it was bouncing....
