On the fence guys, I want your input.

So as of right now I have a 69 camaro with an LT1 swap. She was working alright, but as of late I find I've been spending alot of time chasing down electronic bugs after having to drive the car as my daily for a couple months. I'm at a point now where I'm trying to decide what I want to do moving forward.. All the hardware is fine with the lt1 it's just wiring issues but they are getting tedious. I also want alot more out of my motor, so before I started spending money on LT1 (which is for all intensive purposes a dying technology) I want to rethink my options, and maybe get some of your opinions..

1) Keep on track w/the lt1, replacing my stock hacked up wiring harness with a painless kit, and start looking at heads, cam ect.. (bottom end is good for what I used it for 355 w/pistons)
2) Go back to carb standard sbc. Easy, cheap, know em like the back of my hand..but not as interesting as an EFI setup, and I like the fact that when running correctly I can drive LT1 cross the state and get MPG in the 20's which I would loose w/the carb setup
3) Look back into LS1, I originally was going to do an LS1 swap (had the motor and all) but back then it was just to pricey and not enough people were doing it.. I was looking at about 5g just to drop the motor in the car (in parts alone).. Now I'm wondering if it's come down a bit and may be a more viable options..

Thoughts?

LS1 is deffiantly a cheaper option than it use to be. But with you already having the LT1, I might try to go to a junk yard and buy a harness. The painless are good, but so expensive. With a heads/cam combo, you can easily hit 400RWHP.

Try to find the company I used for the new harness . It was ez2wire.com. It's a good harness and it didn't cost as much as the painless one.
