Ive been having over heating problems and have decided to replace the fan clutch but Ive never done it before. First off how difficult is it on a third gen? And how much are fan clutches for third gens?

Yeah, I don't see a listing for one on a 5.7...there is a listing for 5.0 though.

ok

remove the 4 bolts or nuts holding the fan/clutch assm, to the waterpump(need to use a wrench), then lay the fan face down, and you will see the 4 bolts holding the clutch and fan together, remove them, they should seperate, if not, hold the fan blade off the surface, and tap on the clutch with a hammer
