Hi guys ive been trying to figure out why my codes keep popping up (P0480 & P0481) for Cooling fan 1 & 2 control circut malfunction.. Ive pulled the relays and jumped the fans both operate as should.. Swapped the relays out with the ignition relay to test them and both were good... Wondering if the next step should be to just replace the ect sensor? I know the 98s are the 3 pin and there is a lot of threads on this.. Im assuming (correct me if im wrong please) the third wire is its communication to the pcm? Any more information would be greatly appreciated..
