Fair price? Yes or No?

Well here's the story short as I could put it. I crashed my 400hp Z. Long story short raining, and skidded into a wall. You will see me parting out parts or maby even holding a raffle or something along that lines for some of my brand new parts later on.

To the question. I'm in college, couldnt really afford the gas anyway, so I'm looking for a cheap car that gets good gas mileage. That way, its the best of all sides. Slower I'll stay out of trouble. Cheaper, I can pay my apartment off from what I make on mine several months in advance. Then I get better mpg. So thats my strategy.

But the car is a 95 Camaro. White exterior, leather interior. 160k. Runs good. Engine is smooth, tranny is smooth. He was up front with me and mentioned it leaked oil but very very slow. About a 1/2 quart every oil change period.
Car shifts out good. Has brand new wide tires on some chrome wheels. Also has tinted windows. Only problem is no radio which is a quick fix. Ac works and everything. I will switch it out for a lt1 once the motor blows, but how does 800. sound for this car?

$800 sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Just remember that oil leaks can and will get worse. But at 160k miles, that is to be expected anyway. Plus if the A/C works, then I don't see why you shouldn't pick it up and save a few dollars in gas!

I'm actually looking at getting out of the sport car scene, and looking for a luxury car, but I should be able to sell this car localy and make some cash correct?

Don't do a raffle, unless you are a charity it is illegal.

You might be able to part or sell the car and make a small profit. It is up to you if it is worth the effort or not. For 800 bucks though, it is a pretty good deal.
