factory clear back glass tint !!!
when i bought my camaro a few years ago it had big pieces of clear tint peeling off the back glass..... so i pull off what i can...
well, it must've been some anti-fog tint because now half of the back glass is foggy and the rest isnt...
well a couple years later whats left of the clear stuff has faded or something and is very blurry... the clear stuff is so thin i don't know how to remove it... also i dont want to scrape it too hard because i don't want to damage the lines on the glass for the defogger.....
any suggestions?? please help

Re: factory clear back glass tint !!!
Forgive my "spelling " use clear amonia in a spray bottle. That will remove most films adhesives. Just spray and give it time to soak in as you slowly peel off the old film.

I know that the way professinals do it is they use ammonia like "JaysGone" said, but then after sparying it they tape a big plastic bag under the window and let it sit in the sun for an hour or two.

The heat of the sun helps to vaporize the ammonia so it soaks in to loosen the film better. But you cant always tape it around things like the rear glass. Big trash bags work really well on the doors
