"F"eretta

Well, I hope I have the right forum here, I'm sorry if I don't!

But did anyone hear of GM's plans around 10 years ago to put a V8 in the Beretta? I guess they were going to replace the Camaro, but they decided to scrap the idea... Anyway, a smart GM tech labled the prototype Beretta a "F"eretta-alluding to the fact that it would replace F-body vehicles. Any info?

That makes sense like putting a V8 in a Grand Prix. Err... GTO...

And it's more of a Lounge topic.
